Safeguarding Yourself Against Staph Infections: By Eating More Good Bacteria Protection

September 21st, 2010

Staph infections, at times, can circulate rapidly through communities. They definitely upset health officials because of their potential danger to harm vulnerable individuals who, for various different reasons, have suppressed immune systems
A certain strain of staph infection, known as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, is problematically resistant to a broad spectrum of antibiotics, except for a very small few of the most powerful ones. Staph is a bacterium that commonly exists harmlessly on the skin, under fingernails, and in the nostrils of about 30 % of our population, according the the ‘U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’. But, about 1 % of the population contacts the antibiotic resistant strain, known as MRSA, and this form of staph infection can cause a very serious skin infection, and an internal infection as well.
This type of staph infection can circulate rather quickly in common athletic areas such as gyms and fitness centers. This potentially harmful bacteria can be found on sports equipment, in locker rooms, and on personal hygiene care items such as towels, soaps, and razors. MRSA infections are contagiously spread by skin-to-skin contact through an open cut wound, or contact through personal hygiene care items.
A known outbreak in a community should, therefore, have everyone seriously paying attention in keeping sports equipment, and other suspected areas, properly sanitized. Warnings, also, need to be issued in the advising of no sharing of personal care items.
People with healthy immune systems are not as susceptible to succumbing to this type of infection as those individuals who have a weaker immune system resistance. These individuals can become colonized with this type of deadly infection rather quickly. Lesions on the skin may first appear to be a spider bite or a boil. But, experts on staph infections claim that about 25 % of these types of skin infections end up requiring hospitalization. They cause infections of the bloodstream, central nervous system, heart valves, bones, and pneumonia.
In fact, over the last four to five years 95% of staph infections turn out to be MRSA. MRSA can also carry a gene mutation that can destroy white blood cells and infect other body tissues and organs. MRSA infections start out as small red bumps on the skin that can quickly turn into deep, painful abscesses. Sometimes the bacteria remains confined on the skin but, it can also burrow deep inside your body. Causes of MRSA include:
The results of decades of unnecessary and excessive antibiotic use.
The overuse of antibiotics in livestock farming operations, resulting in feedlot run off that migrates to municipal water systems.
Continued unnecessary and excessive antibiotic use contributes to their ineffectiveness of other types of antibiotics.
Risk factors for contacting a MRSA infection are:
A current or recent hospitalization.
Being a resident of a long-term health care facility.
Requiring dialysis, catheterization, feeding tubes, or other invasive hospital proceedures.
Have been treated with fluoroquinolones ( a type of antibiotics) such as ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, levofloxacin, and cephalosporin.
Doctors diagnose MRSA by obtaining a tissue sample of nasal secretions. The sample is sent to a lab and results are returned within 48 hours. There are some newer tests, becoming more widely available, that can detect staph DNA in a shorter amount of time. Vancomycin is one of the few antibiotics left, that is still effective against hospital strains of MRSA. Be advised, however, that it is no longer effective in every single case.
There is some promising news, however, on how you can protect yourself against an infection with an antibiotic resistant form of staph infection, in a more natural way. Regularly consuming good bacteria nutrition, like what you will find in homemade fermented foods and beverages, can help protect you from developing this dangerous type of infection.
These friendly germs, in abundant populations, will help provide your skin, digestive tract, and immune system with a very powerful, protective barrier against disease causing pathogens such as a common staph infection, or a more problematic and antibiotic resistant MRSA infection..
In light of what is not working on the drug treatment battleground scene with antibiotics, which approach do you believe has a more common sense potential to solve this problem?
Flushing out potentially harmful disease causing staphylococcus bacterias out of your internal system with nothing much else, in fluids, but water is another a good way to avoid a serious staph infection like MRSA.
You can take more control in naturally building up your immune system strength, in fighting off many other different types of disease causing bacterial infections this way also. You can make your intestinal system more fit, and healthier, with a boosted diet of good bacteria nutrition and, of course, by keeping yourself properly hydrated and cleansed in adding more water consumption to your daily diet routine.

Getting More Traffic With Your Search Engine Now

August 13th, 2010

Being indexed by Search Engines is easy… Getting your web page up in the SERP (search engine results page) of Google can sometimes be a little harder. In this article I touch on the three most important things to remember when designing your website for search engines.Choose you keywords rightKeywords are words, or combinations of words, that people use when searching for a website. In order for people to find your website though, your website must show up in the SERP. If those keywords appear in your website then your site should appear somewhere in the results. When people search using Google, Google uses a ranking system to show the order of the results. One of the things Google takes in to account is keyword relevance, therefore keyword optimization is important. Placing your keywords in the meta-tags is not enough. Placing keywords in a strategic way with in your website’s content is vital. It is important for the text to still to make sense for visitors to your website. Repeating your keywords over and over again does not help at all, or using text the same color as the background. The best thing to do is  have a seat, research your keywords and take your time writing your content so that it makes sense to anyone reading your website and incorporating as many keywords as possible in to the content.Valuable incoming links are importantAll links help. Some links are just more valuable then others. Links that are more important in Google are pages with higher PR (Page Rank) and pages that are relevant. For an example a website with a PR 5 and is unrelated to your website is actually less valuable that a link from a website with a PR 4 that is related to your website.  It is important to build your incoming links slowly. It is most important to create links to your website from valuable websites other than a whole bunch of links from websites that are just filled with links or they are link farms.Page LayoutIn order for the search engines to see the text on your website it has to be able to find it. If you have  text that is contained within a table which is then contained in another table, it is possible that the crawler or spider may not find it.  To avoid this, it is best to avoid using tables at all.  In many cases this is not practical. Try  putting the most important text outside the table or at least not placing it in table in tables, use just one table. If the crawler cannot find the content then it can’t use it to evaluate where your listing should appear in the SERP. To give your self the best possible chance, avoid this mistake.Your website’s codeCreating clean code isn’t really an option, it’s a necessity. Some designer’s don’t really remember to clean up the code on the website, as long as it looks right who cares right?  It is important, cluttered code also prevents the search engines from getting to your content. Content is King! Right? If your website has unnecessary code, get rid of it. Make sure your pages validate. To get rid of some extra code use external style sheets and external JavaScript sheets and just link to them. Crawlers find it hard to read JavaScript,  most times they just skip over it.  Besides the point listed above, my top five tips for “Being Seen in the Search Engines, Now! ” would be to minimize the use of JavaScript, as most crawlers can’t read it. Make sure every image has an alt attribute. Don’t use images for the navigation bar, use plain text and make sure that it remains the same on all pages to make it consistent. Hyperlink to the pages that are lower within the hierarchy of your website from the content of pages on the top level of the hierarchy. Use keywords in your url.

How To Sell Your House For More And Build A Better House For Less

June 20th, 2010

My father always told me Real estate is a good investment because they do not make it anymore. Because real estate companies are so busy these days they will be thinking more of listing more homes than your welfare.

If you plan on selling and moving, you will need to take some simple steps to get the most money you can.
Most Real Estate companies do a good job but in a sellers market you can probably sell your home yourself. Anyway, if you have the time it will not hurt to try.

Do not believe the radio ads with the exaggerated problems. If it does not sell then you can always call the pros in latter. The internet has been a blessing to the average person and it is getting better every day.

Not only can you sell many things you do not need anymore, you can even sell your home on the net. Thousands of people visit sites like this looking for a new home. Even if your home is with a Broker, you can still speed things along by putting low cost ads on the internet.

First, you need to get your home ready to show. Buyers like homes that are clean with as few of your things as possible lying around so it is time to do a spring-cleaning. Some big furniture may cost more to move than its worth so sell these things locally. You may want to buy new things later anyway.

Look around for small stuff you do not want and sell it on eBay. What is left is stuff you cannot live without or it is just junk. If you are not sure then ask your wife people, she will point out the junk to you.

Most people have collected too much stuff over the years and consider renting storage for a month or two and this is good. But let me tell you that long term storage is not worth it. The cost’s can overrun the value of the items before you know it and you are still left with old things.

Clean out the garage and hose it down to get rid of dust and spider webs. Men like garages and want to picture their tools and things there. One of the best home improvements that dosen’t cost a lot of money is pant, especially if you don’t mind doing the labor.

Ever notice how guests always end up in the kitchen? Most people like kitchens and this is the first room to remodel or just clean and paint. The next most important room is the bathroom. Repair leaks, rust spots, and replace the little things that seem to get ugly over time. If you have pets make sure you don’t have a cat litter box sitting around smelling up the place.

Homeowners get used to their own smells and cannot smell a thing but your visitors sure can!
Big dogs scare some people (not me) and maybe it would be best to let Bruno visit Uncle Pete for a few weeks. After you finish with everything, invite some friends over for a party and get some feedback on how everything looks.

When everything looks good it is time to take some pictures. You need good clear pictures to post on the net and mail to interested buyers. If you are not experienced at photography, find someone that is.

Good photography takes years to learn and that is what you need now. I have tested photos of my products on eBay and believe me it makes a big difference. Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words.

If you use a Real Estate broker, select one with lots of experience. I like the larger companies because they give you lots more exposure through their advertising and intercity referrals. Buyers trust them more also.

The small cut-rate company’s may be slower to find a buyer and fix problems. When you are ready to move be careful to pick an honest moving company. Many of them have been holding truckloads of belongings and demanding more money. Pick one with a good reputation.

Building Another House And Saving Big

In the early 90s my family and I built our own home. No, we did not hire a contractor we did it ourselves in about a year. We saved a lot and you can also by doing most of the work yourself. I know what you are saying, It is a big project and you do not have the knowledge and time to do all that work.

My wife and son who was ten and myself while holding a full time job did almost everything but the concrete. There are companies on the net that offer the whole package and will help you every step of the way. One of these is Endeavor homes and there are others.

If you do not know something, you have to ask someone that does. I did not know plumbing at all so the local plumbing supply made a deal with me. Careful now, notice that I said local professional plumbing supply not Home Depot. They deal with pros and know everything about plumbing.

So get down there and ask. It is the same with electric. You must ask people who know in exchange for buying your supplies there and only professional suppliers know enough to help you. It is worth the little extra money for all that information.

I wish you wonderful success!
